United Martial Arts

Once again, UMA will be offering daily pick-up from the following schools for After School Karate classes.
Schools Offered:
Ft. Caroline Elementary
Lake Lucina Elementary
Parkwood Heights Elementary
Merrill Road Elementary
Don Brewer Elementary
Cost is $40.00 per week with a 10% discount for an additional sibling.
Includes all early release and half days for Duval County Schools. (We follow the schedule for Duval County Schools. Schedule available on the Duval County School Board Website)
First week must be paid by Friday August 14th.
Program Hours run from 2:30 to 6:00 pm.

Sign up NOW for our awesome after school program! We are a martial arts program that allows all our training to be done during the hours of extended day. Most parents have difficulty getting home from work, running the errands and rushing to ger the kids to their activities. Let us do the running for you, so you can focus on family, homework and down time!!

All after school students must be in our reqular martial arts program.

Here's your challenge...
For those students who dare, your challenge this school year is to read 100 books! Each quarter of the school year we will award the students who have read 25 books in nine weeks. We have new charts on the bulletin board and we would like to keep track of each students progress. Good luck and keep reading!

For the student who reads the most books this year and has written them down with their parents signature, we offer a special prize!

 Attention Parents!  This Summer has been a great success but it’s getting close to that time again. The new school year will be starting for most in the next couple of weeks. Although we look forward to the upcoming After School Karate, our summer camp is still going strong. Most camps will be ending 2 weeks before the upcoming school year. However, we will continue to run summer camp until August 21^st

Self-defense is taught in conjunction with martial arts or as a separate course. Any child or adult would benefit from the techniques taught in these classes. In our society today, we shouldn’t have to live in fear, we can have the knowledge to protect our families and ourselves when needed.

1. Basic Self Defense: Phase I Children/Adults- Escape & Evade
    2 hour course  $25.00 non-refundable deposit, Allow 3 hrs. for training

Does your child need after school care? Check out our program where your child can be picked up from their school and brought to our facilities. Our staff will work with them on their homework in addition to regular karate classes. Call the school for more information.
